We believe that education is the cornerstone of empowerment. We are convinced that through education and empowerment of our youth, focusing on nurturing their voices, expertise, and experiences, we can cultivate a generation capable of shaping more favorable outcomes for the future.
Featured educational programs
After School Essentials (A.S.E.): program is a dynamic and inclusive program designed to provide academic tutoring support and guidance to students in need. Our drop-in tutoring sessions offer a welcoming environment where students can receive personalized assistance with their schoolwork, homework assignments, academic challenges, and goal setting.
SIS Talk: is a girl leadership program that empowers, equips, and develops girls' character, critical thinking, and self-confidence. We provide schools with programming designed to meet their student needs. Our priority is students who need additional support to increase their social and academic success, with a focus on racialized girls and schools within marginalized communities.
School: Supporting schools is a priority for Hope Harbour partners with schools to provide a customized version of the SIStalk Leadership program to their female students. The program customizes areas of our curriculum to meet the unique needs or interests of the school based on its student population.
Workshops:
SIStalk we offers fun, interactive, and educational workshops to girls from elementary through high school.
